Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson, who wrote and directed Dimension’s upcoming Parental Guidance Suggested, have set up their second directing vehicle with Bill Todman’s Level 1 Entertainment.
Titled Trucker Academy, the comedy revolves around two white-collar professionals who lose their jobs and decide to become long-haul truckers.
Epstein and Jacobson will write the high-concept screenplay, which is described as in the vein of Stripes and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, from their original idea.
