Guy Ritchie will direct caper movie RocknRolla, being produced by Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter.
RocknRolla, which Ritchie wrote, is in the same vein as the filmmaker’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch movies: ensemble British gangsters flicks.
Casting for “RocknRolla” is under way, with the filmmakers eyeing a summer shoot. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film.
