With Love: Ariana DeBose Joins Action Movie Led by Ke Huy Quan

Ariana DeBose has been cast in With Love, the new action thriller being led by Everything Everywhere All At Once’s Ke Huy Quan.

Per Deadline, DeBose has officially joined the cast of With Love in an undisclosed role. The movie releases in February 2025 from Universal Pictures.

With Love marks the official directorial debut of Jonathan Eusebio, a stuntman who has worked on films such as 2014’s John Wick, 2018’s Black Panther, and 2024’s The Fall Guy. The screenplay was written by Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore, and Matthew Murray.

Plot details for With Love remain under wrap at this time.

The movie is being produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, and Guy Danella. Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret are overseeing the project on behalf of Universal.

“After attaching Huy Quan to the starring role, producers and studio execs wanted to make sure his co-star was the perfect [match], meeting with a number of female actors for the highly-coveted part,” Deadline’s article states. “Once DeBose got wind of the meetings, she became super aggressive in chasing the role, ultimately landing [it] after chem test with Huy Quan that blew execs away.”
