Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 Clip Previews Villain’s Origins

Following a slew of gory photographs that were unveiled earlier this year, Jagged Edge Productions has released a new Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 clip, highlighting the title character’s chilling origins.

In the newly uploaded clip, titled “Rise Up,” Christopher Robin (Scott Chambers) discovers how Pooh (Ryan Oliva) dug himself out from the ground. The cast for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 includes Tallulah Evans, Alina Desmond, Simon Callow, and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney.

The original film’s director, Rhys Frake-Waterfield, also served as the sequel’s director, with Matt Leslie (Summer of 84) as writer. You can watch the Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 clip below:

What is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 about?

The first installment, which debuted in limited theaters on February 13, 2023, managed to earn $5.2 million at the box office despite the production’s tight budget. And considering how well the film performed at the box office, the director has previously promised to provide a “bigger and badder” sequel to the gruesome reimagination of the beloved character.

The film will follow the hideous villain and his pals as they leave 100-Acre Wood to wreak havoc in the peaceful village of Ashdown.

The official synopsis reads: “Deep within the 100-Acre Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their home and their lives endangered after Christopher Robin revealed their existence. Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to the town of Ashdown, home of Christopher Robin, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake. Winnie and his savage friends will show everyone that they are deadlier, stronger, and smarter than anyone could ever imagine and get their revenge on Christopher Robin, once and for all.”

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide starting March 26 through 28, playing for only three days. Tickets for the upcoming film can be purchased at Fathom Events’ website.
