Disney+ is now available for $1.99 per month.
Disney+ is offering a promotion giving both new and returning customers access to the basic ad tier for $1.99 per month for the next three months. The promotion begins on September 6 and runs through September 20.
In total, fans can save $18 compared to the regular monthly price, should they utilize the promotion for all three months. After three months, viewers’ subscriptions will automatically be renewed for the current monthly retail price for the basic ad tier unless otherwise canceled.
What’s coming to Disney+ in September?
Disney+ will begin offering a number of new titles throughout September 2023, giving fans plenty of options to choose from for their viewing pleasure. Notably, Disney and Pixar’s Elemental is coming to streaming on September 13. The film, directed by Peter Sohn, debuted in United States theaters on June 16, 2023, and brought it approximately $480.1 million at the worldwide box office.
“Disney and Pixar’s Elemental is an original feature film set in Element City where Fire, Water, Earth and Air residents live together,” the synopsis reads. “The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.”
Other titles coming soon or now available on Disney+ include the live-action Little Mermaid remake (September 6), the second season of Marvel’s I Am Groot (September 6), and Animals Up Close with Bertie Gregory (September 13).
Over in a galaxy far, far away, Disney+ is currently airing Ashoka, a Star Wars limited series that debuted on August 22, 2023. With new episodes releasing on Tuesdays, the finale is scheduled to drop on October 3.
