The New Poster for Jude Law Thriller Black Sea

Jude Law is going deep into troubled waters in Black Sea, a new thriller from Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland), and Focus Features has a new poster that harkens back to the submarine movies of old. Check it out below!

The film centers on a rogue submarine captain (Law) who pulls together a misfit crew to go after a sunken treasure rumored to be lost in the depths of the Black Sea. As greed and desperation take control onboard their claustrophobic vessel, the increasing uncertainty of the mission causes the men to turn on each other to fight for their own survival.

Written by Dennis Kelly (“Utopia”), Black Sea also features Scoot McNairy (Argo), Jodie Whittaker (Attack the Block), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Grigoriy Dobrygin (Black Lightning) and Michael Smiley (The World’s End). The film opens in theaters on January 23, 2015.
