Thor: Love and Thunder Action Figures Give First Look at Thor & Jane

Marvel has once again partnered with S.H. Figuarts to launch a brand new toy line featuring 5-inch and 6-inch action figures based on Marvel Studios’ highly-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder.

S.H. Figuarts’ Thor: Love and Thunder collection, which you can check out in the gallery below, includes figures of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, which provided us with a closer at their costumes for the upcoming film. It is slated to be released this June, and will soon be available for preorder.

The full details of each toy are listed below including the production specifications and set contents:

S.H. Figuarts Thor – the body will be 165mm in height and is made with ABS, PVC, and Cloth materials. It will include the hero’s Storm Breaker, replacement face parts, and 2 types of replacement wrists.

S.H. Figuarts Mighty Thor – the body will be 145mm in height and is made with ABS, PVS, and Cloth materials. It will include the iconic Mjolnir, and two Hammer effects as well as a replacement head and 2 types of replacement wrists.

Thor: Love and Thunder will feature the return of Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman, whose Jane Foster is now expected to take on the mantle of the Mighty Thor and will be wielding the iconic Mjolnir. Oscar-winner Christian Bale will also be making his return to the superhero genre as he signs on for the villainous role of Gorr the God Butcher.

The film will also feature a number of MCU alums such as Jaime Alexander as Sif, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Waititi as Korg, and Guardians of the Galaxy stars including Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, Karen Gillan’s Nebula, Sean Gunn’s Kraglin, and Vin Diesel’s Groot. Thanks to previous set photos, it has also been revealed that Matt Damon, Sam Neill, and Luke Hemsworth will once again return for cameo roles along with Melissa McCarthy and Russell Crowe.

Thor: Love and Thunder is once again being directed by Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit)from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Someone Great), which will be the follow-up to Waititi’s wildly successful 2017 sequel Thor: Ragnarok.

The film is currently slated for a July 8, 2022, theatrical release.
