Dead by Daylight & Saw Crossover Event Gets Its Own Gory Trailer

The latest Dead by Daylight crossover is here, and this time, Behaviour Interactive is once again partnering with the iconic horror film franchise Saw with its latest content update. The new Saw content, named Archives Tome 10: SAW, is set to release on January 26, 2022, and will see the legendary horror movie villain Jigsaw make his way into the game.

Jigsaw’s actor Tobin Bell will also be lending his voice to the game. You can check out a brief trailer for the new update below, which feature’s Jigsaw’s puppet Billy appearing before The Observer, a character who has appeared in various Dead by Daylight videos and seems to canonically be involved with delving into the series’ overall lore and past.

As is the case with every big Dead by Daylight content update, the latest Tome (or season) will also feature stories that expand on the lore found within the game. This Tome’s stories will all be based around Killer “The Pig” (which is an adaptation of Amanda Young from the Saw films) and Survivor David Tapp, a detective in the original Saw film. Both characters will receive new, original stories as part of the update, with players also able to unlock cosmetic upgrades for their playable counterparts. These characters were originally added to Dead by Daylight in 2018 through the Saw Chapter DLC pack. This event also gives players a chance to get new outfits for those two Saw characters in addition to 60 new cosmetics.
