Speaking with Empire, director Colin Trevorrow has shared new details about the Atrociraptors, describing them as more vicious and brutal than your regular Velociraptors. He also went on to confirm that fans should expect another type of raptor in the form of Pyroraptors.

“Where the Velociraptor is a little bit more of a stealth hunter, the Atrociraptors are a bit more brutish,” Trevorrow said. “These things will just come at you. And in this particular case, they’ve picked his scent, and they’re not going to stop until he’s dead. They’re pretty brutal. They’re pretty vicious.”

Jurassic World Dominion will be led by Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and BD Wong. It will also see the highly-anticipated return of original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Campbell Scott. The third installment will also be introducing new characters, portrayed by Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, Scott Haze, and Isabella Sermon.
