In The Simpsons in Plusaversary, the iconic animated family host a Disney+ Day party and everyone is on the list… except Homer. With friends from across the service and music fit for a Disney princess, Plusaversary is Springfield’s event of the year.
The upcoming short is the third in a series of Disney+ shorts from The Simpsons that highlight the service’s marquee brands and titles. The first one was a Star Wars-themed short titled Maggie Simpson in The Force Awakens from Its Nap, and most recent was a Marvel-themed short The Good, The Bart, and The Loki, which are now both streaming on Disney+.
Created by Matt Groening (Futurama, Disenchantment), The Simpsons has been on-air for more than 30 years and had become a pop-culture phenomenon. The voice cast consists of Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as his wife Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart, and Yeardley Smith as Lisa.
