Rebel Wilson is the latest addition to the cast of Columbia Pictures’ Grimsby. Variety reports that the Pitch Perfect star will join Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong, Annabelle Wallis, David Harewood, Ian McShane, Gabourey Sidibe and Johnny Vegas for the action comedy.
Baron Cohen and Phil Johnston wrote the film, which follows a British black ops agent (Strong) who is forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother (Baron Cohen), who is a northern English soccer hooligan. When it was first announced in August of 2012, the comedy pitch was described as a parody of the “James Bond” franchise.
Wilson can next be seen in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, hitting theaters December 19. She’ll then return as Fat Amy for Pitch Perfect 2, now filming for a May 15, 2015 release.
Grimsby, meanwhile, is set for release on July 31, 2015.
