Knives Out 2 is once again written and directed by Rian Johnson. It is being produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman. Further details about the plot and its characters are still being kept under wraps, but Daniel Craig is expected to reprise his role as private detective Benoit Blanc.

Just like the first film, Rian Johnson has assembled another star-studded cast who will be joining Craig in the second installment. This includes Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Edward Norton (Fight Club), Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks), and Jessica Henwick (Love and Monsters), and Ethan Hawke (Sinister).
