The Marvel Cinematic Universe and DCEU are getting their own little crossover with the upcoming Netflix thriller Sweet Girl as Spider-Man: Far From Home star Marisa Tomei has joined the cast that’s being led by Aquaman‘s Jason Momoa, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tomei, who has been nominated for three Oscars and winning one for her performance in My Cousin Vinny, is set to star in the film as a U.S. Senator. She joins a cast that already includes Momoa, Isabella Merced (Dora and the Lost City of Gold), Adria Arjona (Morbius), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (6 Underground) and Justin Bartha (National Treasure).
In Sweet Girl, Momoa will play a husband who vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while also protecting his daughter.
