Harrison Ford Talks Potential Fifth Indiana Jones Film

Even though fans weren’t enthusiastic about his return in “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” there have been talks about a fifth Indiana Jones movie for many years now. Things have been quiet in regard to the franchise’s future, especially after Disney purchased Lucasfilm, but now star Harrison Ford seems to want him to make a comeback.

“We’ve seen the character develop and grow over a period of time and it’s perfectly appropriate and okay for him to come back again with a great movie around him where he doesn’t necessarily have to kick as much ass,” he said in an interview with The Telegraph. “To me, what was interesting about the character was that he prevailed, that he had courage, that he had wit, that he had intelligence, that he was frightened and that he still managed to survive. That I can do.”

The last reports on a fifth Indiana Jones movie  were that George Lucas was working on a script but had yet to find a “Macguffin” for the story. Lucas has since said he is “retired” from making big movies, so could that mean the end of the “Indiana Jones” franchise?
