Frankly Speaking Episode 8 Trailer: Are Kang Han-Na & Go Kyung-Pyo Dating?

JTBC recently shared the trailer for Frankly Speaking episode 8 ahead of its premiere. Starring Go Kyung-Pyo as Song Ki-Baek and Kang Han-Na as On Woo-Joo, the K-drama is a romantic comedy series about an announcer and a variety show writer.

In the previous episode, Ki-Baek confessed his feelings to Woo-Joo. But, in the reality dating show finale, Ki-Baek picked Choi-Hui (Han Dong-Hee) and Woo-Joo chose her ex, Kim Jung-Heon (Joo Jong-Hyuk). However, the episode ended with the lead characters expressing their likeness towards each other. Also, they shared a passionate kiss.

The trailer for the upcoming episode 8 focuses on Woo-Joo and Ki-Baek’s initial stages of dating. Although they have not officially become a couple, they spend time with each other like a regular couple.

The Frankly Speaking episode 8 trailer begins with Woo-Joo and Ki-Baek on a date. However, when someone asks Ki-Baek if he is in a relationship with her, he says, “I am not sure.” In their initial stage of dating, the two share a few awkward moments.

While Ki-Baek complains that Woo-Joo never texts him first, she looks happy when she receives his message. Even a colleague asks her, “Are you dating someone, Woo-Joo?” 

Meanwhile, Woo-Joo attends a photoshoot with Jung-Heon as part of the post-promotional event for the reality dating show. They bump into Ki-Baek at the photoshoot. Jung-Heon looks hurt and jealous, adding curiosity to his storyline.

On the other hand, Ki-Baek appears on another show. But his condition of blurting out blunt truths without thinking may get him into trouble. The trailer ends with Ki-Baek waiting for Woo-Joo, who is comforting Jung-Heon at that time.

Frankly Speaking episode 8 release date and time

Frankly Speaking episode 8 premieres on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 8.50 p.m. KST on JTBC. The K-drama is also available to stream on Netflix. Consisting of 12 episodes, the series airs twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday.
