Episode 3 of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon promises an eventful ride for viewers as Seo Hye-Jin and Lee Joon-Ho grow closer. The two blur their relationship as a professor and a former student and become fellow instructors at the Daechi Chase Academy. The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 3: Wi Ha-Joon, Jung Ryeo-Won grow closer

The newly released trailer for The Midnight Romance in Hagwon episode 3 begins by teasing a growing closeness between Seo Hye-Jin and Lee Joon-Ho. The two express their gradual change of feelings by worrying about each other. Furthermore, at the academy, Joon-Ho pulls Hye-Jin into the office and asks her to be his partner. Meanwhile, the academy will likely pull out the duo’s story—back when Hye-Jin helped Joon-Ho enter a prestigious university—as an advertisement to lure the students in.

The trailer also shows Hye-Jin and Joon-Ho staying awake late at night to text each other. Hye-Jin blushes at Joon-Ho’s message as the two leave their teacher-student relationship behind. Furthermore, Joon-Ho fondly addresses Hye-Jin by her name, which only indicates a love story in the making. Meanwhile, tensions arise back at the academy with a new arrival.

Choi Hyung-Sun, Choiseon Korean Language Institute’s director, arrives to take a class at Daechi Chase. She enters the story as Hye-Jin’s rival, who indirectly challenges her. On the other hand, Nam Cheong-Mi finds critical information about school teacher Pyo Sang-Seob. Amidst growing tension, Hye-Jin prepares Joon-Ho for his lectures. The two hide in a classroom, anxious about getting caught, when they stand extremely close to each other. Hye-Jin navigates her growing feelings for Joon-Ho, her student in the past.

To watch it all unfold, don’t forget to tune in to The Midnight Romance in Hagwon on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN and later on Viki.
