Upcoming Movie The Plot Adds Reply 1988 Actor Lee Dong-Hwi & More to Cast

The upcoming Korean movie The Plot unveiled the photos from the film and released the cast lineup. The character images give off an eerie feeling, leaving the viewers curious about the storyline of the film.

The narrative follows Young II’s life story. Kang Dong-Won plays Young II’s character in the movie, who is the leader of a group of contract killers, and his job is to make killings look like accidents. However, one incident unfolds in a manner that creates quite a bit of chaos in his life. How he will deal with the aftermath is what the movie will show.

South Korean Movie The Plot reveals cast 

Recently, the South Korean movie The Plot revealed character images and cast details. The first two pictures feature Kang Dong-Won’s Young II. While in the opening image, he looks affectionate and happy, in the second one, he exudes a tense look. The next photo shows Lee Chi-Hyun’s (Lee Moo-Saeng) calm expression. Chi-Hyun is an investor in the movie; however, his look adds curiosity to viewers’ minds.

Next up, the movie reveals Jackie’s (Queen of Tears‘ Lee Mi-Sook) pictures. These images show two sides of her character. In one photo, she looks fragile. Meanwhile, in another photo, she exudes a strong aura. The stills further introduce Joo Sung-Jik (Kim Hong-Fa), Youn II’s murder target, and his client, Joo Young-Sun (Jung Eun-Chae). The movie also stars Kim Shin-Rok, who portrays a stern detective as Yang Kyung-Jin.

Reply 1988 actor Lee Dong-Hwi plays a hacker as Ha Woo-Jeo, while Lee Hyun-Wook is seen as Samkwang Security Team’s disguise expert, Wol Chun. Tang Jun-Sang portrays Jum Man, the youngest member of Samkwang Security.

The viewers are quite excited about the movie, as the pictures and the massive cast lineup have added to their curiosity and expectations. The Plot will hit theaters on May 29, 2024.
