One of the most hyped South Korean movies, Exhuma, is finally released in India on May 3, 2024. Starring Kim Go-Eun and Lee Do-Hyun, it tells a chilling story of unnatural forces and the power of the shamans. Jang Jae-Hyun wrote and directed this dark horror and thriller.
The storyline revolves around the two shamans who excavate an ominous grave, which later unleashes evil powers buried underneath. Kim Go-Eun plays Lee Hwa-Rim and Lee Do-Hyun portrays Bong-Gil. Exhuma or Pamyo recorded the year’s highest-grossing movies with a collection of 2 million USD as per box office mojo. The movie swept the Korean box office with its huge collection. However, despite being ready with certification, the movie was not released in India for a month. This happened because of the back-to-back Bollywood movie releases. So, now, Exhuma is released in 75 theatres with 107 daily shows, as reported in Times of India.
The movie focuses on occult and mysterious elements. The stellar star cast, including Choi Min-Sik, Kim Go-Eun, and Lee Do-Hyun have given outstanding performances. Their acting skills made it look real. Exhuma is screening in many cities, including Pondicherry, Aizawl, Imphal, Itanagar, etc.
Exhuma was originally released in South Korea on February 22, 2024. Then in the USA, it was released in March 2024.
