Ji-Sung copes with drug addiction in new SBS K-drama Connection posters

Connection K-drama follows the story of detective Jang Jae-Kyung, who struggles with drug addiction while being a narcotics team detective at the Anhyeon Police Station. He has proven himself worthy of respect from his fellow employees but falls in trouble after suffering from forcible drug addiction. After his friend’s death, he uses the investigation to uncover the real truths behind their 20-year-old friendship and corrupt connections.

Meanwhile, the two newly released posters showcase Jae-Kyung’s dilemma at the police station as he looks at a set of pills on the table. The two posters show a long shot and a close-up of Jae-Kyung’s facial expressions as he faces the pills in front of him. Suffering through drug addiction while maintaining his job as the narcotics team detective leaves him anxious and wary. He rests his chin on the desk and looks at the pills in the first picture, but his close-up reveals his internal struggles and a battle between reason and instinct.

Viewers will have to wait to see if he manages to hide his addiction struggles while uncovering secrets about the corrupt connections. The series also stars Jeon Mi-Do as social affairs reporter Oh Yoon-Jin, who collaborates with Jae-Kyung on his mission.
