Hong Ye-Ji’s Missing Crown Prince Episode 5 Release Date Revealed on MBN 

Missing Crown Prince episode 5 is all set to air in April 2024 on MBN and Viki. Starring Hong Ye-Ji and EXO’s Suho, the historical K-drama focuses on royal politics, secrets, betrayals, and romance.

In the previous episode, Crown Prince Lee Gon (Suho) met his half-brother, Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu), and shared his plan to take down Queen Dowager Min Soo-Ryun (Myung Se-Bin). After many betrayals from his men at the palace, Lee Gon initially hesitated to trust Do Sung but eventually gave it in. Towards the end of the episode, the crown prince confronted Choi Sang-Rok (Kim Joo-Heon) for his affair with Soo-Ryun. Outside Sang-Rok’s house, the royal guards appeared alongside Do Sung to arrest Lee Gon.

Missing Crown Prince episode 5 will focus on Lee Gon in prison while Choi Myung-Yoon (Hong Ye-Ji) and Do Sung fight for justice.

Missing Crown Prince episode 5 will premiere on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9.40 p.m. KST on MBN. It is also available to stream on Viki.

The trailer for the upcoming episode shows King Hae Jong collapsing after consuming poison. Queen Dowager Min Soo-Ryun takes over the throne replacing the king and announces Sang-Rok as the Grand Inspector. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Lee Gon (Suho) is awaiting his punishment in prison.

When Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu) learns the truth about Soo-Ryun, he draws his sword against her. On the other hand, Choi Myung-Yoon (Hong Ye-Ji) tries to rescue Lee Gon. It appears she fails to do so.

Towards the end of the trailer, someone tells Lee Gon, “Please die.” In response, he says, “I don’t know what to do with all this anger after I die.”

Missing Crown Prince airs twice a week on Saturday and Sunday on MBN and Viki.
