MBN recently released the Missing Crown Prince episode 5 trailer, featuring EXO’s Suho and Hong Ye-Ji as Lee Gon and Choi Myung-Yoon, respectively. The historical K-drama revolves around the themes of romance, family politics, and betrayal.
In the previous episode, Crown Prince Lee Gon confronted Choi Sang-Rok (Kim Joo-Heon) for having an affair with Queen Dowager Min Soo-Ryun (Myung Se-Bin). Before the confrontation, he met his brother, Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu), and he trusted him. At the episode’s end, the royal guards, alongside Do Sung, appeared at Sang-Rok’s place to arrest Lee Gon.
The Missing Crown Prince episode 5 trailer teases Lee Gon being tortured in the palace’s prison. He will likely receive a death sentence.

Missing Crown Prince episode 5 trailer teases Suho in prison awaiting punishment
The Missing Crown Prince episode 5 trailer begins with someone narrating that the crown prince has been captured. Lee Gon (Suho) narrates, “Don’t you know I am their target? It’s pointless,” as he sits calmly inside the prison.
Meanwhile, King Hae Jong has collapsed after being poisoned. Hence, Queen Dowager Min Soo-Ryun takes over the throne. She further orders, “Choi Sang-Rok is hereby appointed as the Grand Inspector.” Furious, Grand Prince Do Sung (Kim Min-Kyu) barges into Soo-Ryun’s chamber and draws a sword against her neck. When she adamantly says to strike her, he raises his sword to do so. However, it doesn’t look like he will be able to kill Soo-Ryun.
On the other hand, Crown Prince Lee Gon awaits his punishment. Do Sung’s grandfather says, “Please die,” and in response, Lee Gon states, “I don’t know what to do with all this anger after I die.”
Missing Crown Prince episode 5 will air on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9.40 p.m. KST on MBN. The K-drama will also stream on Viki.
