Popular South Korean actor Kwak Dong-Yeon has made a significant mark in the popular tvN K-drama Queen of Tears. He essays the role of Hong Soo-Cheol, Queens Group heir and Hong Hae-In’s (Kim Ji-Won) brother.

My ID is Gangnam Beauty

Based on a webtoon, My ID is Gangnam Beauty is a popular K-drama that aired on July 27, 2015. The series follows the story of a woman, Kang Mi-Rae (Im Soo-Hyang), who gets plastic surgery after years of enduring bullying for her looks.

Meanwhile, the pressure of looking good gets to her sooner rather than later. She then crosses paths with Do Kyung-Seok (Cha Eun-Woo), who helps her in her journey to love herself.

Kwak Dong-Yeon plays Kyung-Seok’s housemate, Yeon Woo-Young, who loves Mi-Rae’s personality. Viewers can stream the series on Netflix, Viki, and other streaming platforms.

Gaus Electronics

Gaus Electronics is a light-hearted K-drama that follows the lives of members of Marketing Team 3 of the company’s home appliance team. They are part of one of the most chaotic teams and have their plates full.

The team consists of a total of 10 employees with different personalities. As they manage their work, friendships and romance blossom. Kwak Dong-Yeon plays the optimistic Lee Sang-Sik, who falls in trouble after misjudging his co-workers’ moods. The drama premiered on September 30, 2022, and is available on Viki.
