The Midnight Studio is a horror comedy K-drama on ENA. Starring Joo Won and Kwon Na-Ra, the series revolves around a ghost photographer and his supernatural connection with a lawyer.

Joo Won plays photographer Seo Ki-Joo, who runs a mysterious photo studio that captures the final memory of the dead. Ki-Joo comes with a family curse where no male member has ever lived after age 35. Due to the curse and ghost attacks, he prefers to live indoors. When he meets lawyer Han Bom, he discovers that she has a supernatural ability to keep ghosts away from him.

Man-Wol is a dead soul who has been running a mysterious hotel for the past thousand years. The hotel welcomes souls who have unfinished business on Earth. Ages ago, she made a deal with Chang-Sung’s father, who brought him to the hotel as assistant manager. While managing the finances, he falls in love with Man-Wol.

Ghost Doctor

Ghost Doctor is a 2022 tvN K-drama starring Rain and Kim Bum in lead roles. The story revolves around a talented doctor, Cha Young-Min, who is cold and arrogant and only cares about his career. One day, he has an accident, and his spirit enters a first-year resident, Ko Seung-Tak’s body. 

Seung-Tak is born with a golden spoon. His grandfather is the founder of the hospital, and his mother is the chairman. With Young-Min’s spirit inside him, Seung-Tak also becomes a skilled resident in the hospital. The K-drama is available on Netflix. According to the network, the synopsis reads, “The ghost of an arrogant surgeon with a golden touch possesses the body of a first-year resident, making him the most sought-after physician overnight.”

Oh My Ghost

Oh My Ghost is another K-drama like The Midnight Studio. It tells the story of Na Bong-Soon (Park Bo-Young), a restaurant worker with zero confidence and a fragile personality. She gets yelled at by her seniors daily because she is not good at most of the tasks. Things are more difficult for her as Bong-Soon has a crush on the restaurant’s star chef, Kang Seon-Woo (Jo Jung-Suk).

Bong-Son can see ghosts. One day, a chirpy and lascivious female ghost possesses Bong-Soon. Since that day, she has begun acting differently and comes to the notice of Seon-Woo. The K-drama’s synopsis on Netflix reads, “When a skilled but timid chef is possessed by a sassy spirit, her newfound confidence catches the eye of her longtime crush, a culinary hotshot.”

Mystic Pop-Up Bar

Mystic Pop-Up Bar is a 2020 K-drama about a centuries-old bar owner and her mysterious bar that only opens at night. Wol Joo (Hwang Jung-Eum) runs the bar where humans and ghosts can eat, drink, and vent their frustrations and sorrows. She tries to heal their wounds by listening to their problems and sometimes entering their dreams.

Han Kang-Bae (Yook Sung-Jae) is a young man who begins working at the bar and discovers a strange world. According to Netflix, the synopsis reads, “A young man with a unique ability begins working for a centuries-old bar owner who resolves her customers’ emotional troubles by entering their dreams.”
