The much-awaited 2nd season of The Escape of the Seven, titled The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, is all set to arrive on Friday, March 29, 2024, on SBS. It is a revenge thriller series that stars Uhm Ki-Joon and Lee Joon as lead characters. SBS has recently released three brand-new stills from the upcoming series on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
The newly launched photos from The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection feature Lee Joon and Uhm Ki-Joon as their respective characters, Min Do-Hyuk and Matthew Lee. In these photos, the two are surprisingly together. They are embracing each other and even making a gesture of a heart with their hands together.

As mentioned above, the three new stills from The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, dropped by SBS, showcase two central cast members together. One of them is Uhm Ki-Joon, who plays the role of Matthew Lee. Meanwhile, the other actor is Lee Joon, who portrays Min Do-Hyuk.
In the first and second photos, the two characters, Min Do-Hyuk and Matthew Lee, are seen embracing one another. The first photo shows Min Do-Hyuk’s face. He has a stern and careful expression on his face. The second photo displays Matthew Lee’s face. He is smiling in the still. However, the smile looks a bit forceful. In the meantime, the third photo showcases the two characters making a heart sign by joining their hands together above their heads.
In season 1 of the K-drama The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, Matthew Lee primarily intended to kill Do-Hyuk after making his life miserable. Thus, their embrace and making of a heart sign together come as a massive shock for the show’s followers. Hence, it will be pretty interesting to see how the second season’s story unfolds.
