Love Song for Illusion Episode 16 Trailer Teases Hong Ye-Ji’s Death

KBS recently shared the trailer of Love Song for Illusion episode 16 ahead of its premiere. Starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, the K-drama has reached its finish line. Going by the trailer, it hints at a sad ending.

In episode 15, King Sajo Hyeon pretends to regain his memories to deceive Ak-Hee. The latter joins forces with Sajo Yung and Shaman Cheong Ta to kill the king. When Yeon Wol figures out the plan, she rushes to save Sajo Hyeon. The episode ends with the king’s alter-personality attacking him in their subconscious world.

The trailer of episode 16 (finale) teases the ill fate of Yeon Wol. It is unclear if the king has died for good.

Love Song for Illusion finale trailer: Hong Ye-Ji will likely put her life in danger for Park Ji-Hoon

The Love Song for Illusion finale (episode 16) trailer features Park Ji-Hoon’s Ak-Hee wondering if Sajo Hyeon has perished for good. As per his deal with Sajo Yung (Hwang Hee), he puts the royal stamp on giving up the throne.

With Sajo Yung as the leader, a massacre follows. Meanwhile, Yeon Wol meets Hwang Hee’s character and makes a deal that includes Ak-Hee. It appears she will endanger her life to defeat the alter-personality and revive Sajo Hyeon.

The Love Song for Illusion finale trailer teases a sad ending. However, viewers must wait to find out if the characters manage to find their happy ending.

Love Song for Illusion episode 16 will premiere on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 10.10 p.m. KST on KBS. It will also stream on Viki.

Consisting of 16 episodes, the K-drama’s episode 1 aired on January 2, 2024.
