Popular K-drama Flex X Cop is all set to air a brand new episode 7 on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. The episode will also be available to stream on Disney Plus. The series follows the story of an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir Jin Yi-Soo (Ahn Bo-Hyun), who becomes a detective overnight. He crosses paths with team leader Lee Kang-Hyun (Park Ji-Hyun) and the rest of the Homicide Department team, and together they solve cases.
SBS released brand new photos of Flex X Cop Episode 7, teasing Jin Yi-Soo’s bromance with fellow team member Park Joon-Young (Kang Sang-Jun). The two have been at odds ever since Yi-Soo joined the team. Joon-Young wasn’t too fond of his new team member, leading to multiple arguments between the two. Recent pictures appear to show that the two have moved over their differences and formed a friendship.

The upcoming episode 7 of Flex X Cop will document the Homicide Department team investigating a new case. In the previous episode, they discovered the death of SW SOFT CEO Choi Seonu. Meanwhile, another potential murder rocks the basis of the case. In the upcoming episode, Yi-Soo will help the rest of the team navigate the facts of the case.
Not only will the team continue to investigate this case, but they will also navigate their issues and conflicts within the team. Since Yi-Soo joined the team, fellow detective Joon-Young hasn’t been too fond of him. Yi-Soo only joined the department after being involved in an accidental case. When it affected his father’s election campaign, they decided to frame Yi-Soo as a secret cop and sent him to the department to work.
Considering Yi-Soo could only join because he’s the son of a big conglomerate Chairman, Joon-Young as well as Lee Kang-Hyun were against him. Throughout the past few episodes, Yi-Soo has helped the team immensely by using his connections. However, Yi-Soo and Joon-Young have always managed to rub each other the wrong way, leading to multiple disagreements between the two.
However, the newly released photos of the Flex X Cop Episode 7 tease a budding friendship between the two. In the first picture, Joon-Young lifts an embarrassed Yi-Soo and walks out. In the next few pictures, both Yi-Soo and Joon-Young smile at each other, indicating the beginning of a budding friendship. Although the last picture hints at another argument, it looks like the two have finally buried their hatchet.
