tvN’s upcoming K-drama Queen of Tears released brand new photos of the actors playing the second lead couple, Kwak Dong-Yeon and Lee Joo-Bin. The series is all set to release on Saturday, March 9, 2024, on the network and will also be available to stream on Netflix. It follows the story of chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and commoner Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun), who undergo a major crisis in their marriage.

The newly released photos portray a blooming romance between Kwak Dong-Yeon and Lee Joo-Bin’s characters. The former plays Hong Hae-In’s younger brother Hong Soo-Chul. While Lee Joo-Bin essays the role of his wife Cheon Da-Hye. The photos showcase the couple’s chemistry, hinting at their happy married life. It will be interesting to see how these two contribute to the overall story.

Queen of Tears photos tease Kwak Dong-Yeon, Lee Joo-Bin’s loving moments as a couple

Upcoming tvN K-drama Queen of Tears follows the tumultuous married life of Hong Hae-In, the “queen” of Queen’s Department Stores, and Baek Hyun-Woo, the legal director of the conglomerate Queens Group. Meanwhile, Kwak Dong-Yeon and Lee Joo-Bin are another couple with a happy married life, indicating a lovable second lead couple.

Kwak Dong-Yeon plays Hong Soo-Chul, Hong Hae-In’s younger brother. Having lived under a strict elder sister all his life, he chooses someone who is the complete opposite of him as his ideal type. Meanwhile, OSEN’s report describes his business acumen as lesser than that of Hae-In. Therefore, he falls prey to his grandfather Hong Man-Dae’s (Kim Kap-Soo) criticism.

Meanwhile, Soo-Chul finds the perfect companion in his wife Cheon Da-Hye, played by Lee Joo-Bin. Not only is she Hae-In’s exact opposite, but she also makes Soo-Chul proud of himself. Da-Hye goes along with all of her husband’s trivial jokes, making her the center of attention among seniors in Queens Group.

The photos showcase the perfect chemistry between the couple. They take care of each other in different situations – whether it is wiping each other’s mouths or feeding their significant other some fruits. From the looks of it, their romantic life is completely opposite to that of Hae-In and Hyun-Woo, who struggle with a married life crisis three years into their marriage.

To watch their journey unfold, don’t forget to tune in to Queen of Tears on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN and later on Netflix. The drama will air every Saturday and Sunday.
