Queen of Tears Posters: Kim Soo-Hyun, Kim Ji-Won Face a Crisis in Their Marriage

Upcoming K-drama Queen of Tears released new posters ahead of the K-drama’s premiere, teasing a glimpse of the central storyline. The series will premiere on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. It will also be available to stream on Netflix. The series follows the story of chaebol heiress Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) and her husband, Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun), who face issues in their marriage. tvN released two new posters for Queen of Tears, featuring Hong Hae-In and Baek Hyun-Woo’s predicament as a married couple. While the first photo features significant tension between them, the second embodies a softer tone, indicating the two potentially falling in love again. Viewers will have to wait and see how their journey unfolds.

Queen of Tears posters: Kim Soo-Hyun & Kim Ji-Won remain conflicted in their relationship

Queen of Tears is one of the most anticipated dramas of 2024. People label Hong Hae-In as the “Queen,” considering she heads Queens Group’s department stores. She gets married to Baek Hyun-Woo, the son of the head of Yongduri, who becomes the legal director of the conglomerate group. The two fall in love, but three years into their marriage, differences of opinion and impending tension break their relationship apart.

The first poster suggests a solemn mood, just like the huge teardrop background behind the two characters. Hae-In and Hyun-Woo stand facing each other with a firm look that indicates heartbreak and tension. Unlike the romantic scene of the river behind them, the couple’s married life has worsened. The phrase reads, “I got married because I love you. But why don’t I love you anymore after getting married?” This sentence describes the lost love between the couple.

On the other side, the second poster sees Hae-In and Hyun-Woo standing amid a romantic atmosphere, surrounded by pink flowers and a clear blue sky reminiscent of a warm spring day. This poster indicates the two falling back in love after mending their differences. The phrase reads, “A love story that begins like a miracle in this moment.” Although they suffer heartbreak, the couple eventually gets back together.

To watch their journey, tune in to Queen of Tears on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN and later on Netflix. The drama will air every Saturday and Sunday.
