Like Flowers in Sand Episode 12 Trailer Teases Happy Ending for Jang Dong-Yoon & Lee Joo-Myoung

ENA shared the Like Flowers in Sand episode 12 (finale) trailer ahead of its premiere. The Netflix K-drama, starring Jang Dong-Yoon as Baek-Du and Lee Joo-Myoung as Oh Yu-Gyeong/Du-Sik, is a sports romance drama.

In episode 11 ending, the real culprit of Chil-Seong’s death confronted Mi-Ran (Kim Bo-Ra). He was also responsible for the death of Mi-Ran’s father 20 years ago. The episode ended with him asking her for the evidence she had.

The trailer of Like Flowers in Sand episode 12 shows Du-Sik nearing the end of the investigation. Baek-Du, on the other hand, is determined to win his next wrestling match. More than that, he is eagerly waiting for Du-Sik’s confession. It seems all will likely go well in the lead characters’ personal and professional lives, giving viewers a happy ending.

The Like Flowers in Sand finale trailer begins with Du-Sik, Baek-Du, and their friends looking for Mi-Ran. She goes missing after her confrontation with the real culprit. It further hints at Du-Sik’s undercover mission turning out to be successful.

The video shows a wounded Du-Sik (Lee Joo-Myoung) looking at Baek-Du with happy eyes. On the other hand, Jang Dong-Yoon’s character trains for his next wrestling match but dons a tense face. His friend-cum-coach, Jin-Su, asks him, “Are you confident about the upcoming match?” With confidence, he replies, “Then I should show what I am made of this time.”

Du-Sik returns to Seoul before Baek-Du’s match. He insists she must come to support him no matter what it takes. He adds, “So come and give me your answer that day,” hinting at her love confession.

Like Flowers in Sand episode 12 (finale) will premiere on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 9 p.m. KST on ENA. The K-drama is also available to stream on Netflix

Consisting of 12 episodes, the Jang Dong-Yoon starrer aired its first episode on December 20, 2023.
