In episode 6, widower Prince Sim Jung-Woo and widow Jung Soon-Deok as matchmaker Yeo Joo-Daek fail to match three sisters who crossed their primal age of marriage. Joo-Daek finds a solution that involves getting rid of the rumor related to the eldest sister.

The Matchmakers episode 7 will air on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 9:45 p.m. KST on KBS. Episode 8 will premiere the next day. The K-drama is also available to stream on Viki.
KBS released the trailer of The Matchmakers episode 7, featuring Sim Jung-Woo’s (Rowoon) feelings for Soon Deok (Cho Yi-Hyun), aka Joo-Daek, getting stronger. His servant tries to bring him to his senses after claiming he is distracted because of “a woman.”
The plot gets intense when the King asks Jung-Woo whether or not the Left State Minister knows about the matchmaking mission. For context, the king ordered his son-in-law to marry off old maidens for the sake of the crown prince. The K-drama trailer further teases an abduction scare for the crown prince.
Meanwhile, Joo-Daek is determined to change the false rumors about Maeng Ha-Na (Jung Sin-Hye). She is speculated to possess the spirit of a lady who was murdered but her case was declared as suicide. The clip hints that she may change the narrative through Maeng Sam-Soon’s (Jung Bo-Min) novels. Rowoon‘s Jung-Woo fears for Joo-Daek’s safety. The trailer ends with the Defense Minister pointing an arrow at masked Joo-Daek as he says, “I will make sure I kill you this time.”
