Twinkling Watermelon will air a new episode today on tvN and Viki. The series follows the story of a CODA (child of dead adult) student who travels back in time and meets a few high school students to form the band Watermelon Sugar. He also meets his parents from the past. The drama stars Choi Hyun-Wook, Ryeoun, Seol In-Ah and Shin Eun-Soo in lead roles.
Episode 15 of Twinkling Watermelon promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats as Eun-Gyeol (Ryeoun) and Eun-Yu (Seol In-Ah) try to prevent Yi Chan’s (Choi Hyun-Wook) accident. As the duo navigate time travel, the drama sets foot into its final two episodes. Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out if Yi Chan is safe from the impending danger.
Will Ryeoun be able to save Choi Hyun-Wook in Twinkling Watermelon episode 15?
In the newly released trailer of Twinkling Watermelon episode 15, Eun-Gyeol and Eun-Yu try to prevent Yi Chan’s accident. The previous episode saw the duo realizing that the accident, which they thought had been avoided previously, hasn’t happened yet. Eventually, they connect their time-traveling events together to figure out a solution.
Meanwhile, Yi Chan spends quality time with Cheong-Ah (Shin Eun-Soo) at his grandmother’s guesthouse. Eun-Gyeol previously brought Cheong-Ah to the guesthouse after he witnessed her stepmother abuse her by locking her in the basement. His efforts to get his parents, Yi Chan and Cheong-Ah, together will continue in the upcoming episode.
In the trailer, Eun-Gyeol asks Yi Chan to take Cheong-Ah back to her house after learning that her father has returned. Yi Chan becomes Cheong-Ah’s voice as he defends her in front of her father and reveals her stepmother’s cruel actions. Before going to her house, Yi Chan assures Cheong-Ah that she can return to the guesthouse anytime.
Presumably, Cheong-Ah’s stepmother also hires people to pretend they are police officers and kidnap Eun-Gyeol. However, if Yi Chan manages to successfully reveal her actions, Eun-Gyeol will be free from the danger. In the preview clip, he continues to collaborate with Eun-Yu to protect his father from the accident.
With the help of Eun-Yu, he realizes that Yi Chan met Mr. Jonathan on the day of the accident. So, they try to prevent Yi Chan from meeting Mr. Jonathan, but the former decides to approach the latter for feedback on the band’s song for the upcoming contest. As per the trailer, he successfully approaches Mr. Jonathan for help.
In the trailer, Yi Chan runs to the middle of the road to retrieve a child’s toy. He pushes the child aside to take the toy but sees a car approaching him. The final scene sees the car in smoke as Eun-Yu walks towards the scene. Viewers will have to wait and see if Eun-Gyeol manages to save his father from the accident that leads to Yi Chan’s hearing disability.
Twinkling Watermelon episode 15 release date, time & more
Episode 15 of Twinkling Watermelon will air on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 8:50 p.m. KST on JTBC. The drama will also be available to stream on Viki. It has a total of 16 episodes, with the finale airing on Tuesday, November 16, 2023.
However, the finale will air 10 minutes early, increasing viewers’ anticipation of whether or not the series will have a happy or a sad ending. If Eun-Gyeol manages to save Yi Chan, then he prevents one of his parents from suffering a lifelong disability. If not, then the drama will establish that no matter how time travel works, some things cannot be changed.
