Weak Hero Class 1 Season 2 to Release on Netflix, Announces Cast

Starring Park Ji-Hoon, Weak Hero Class 1 is all set to return with another season. Although the first season was a Wavve original, the upcoming season will debut on Netflix. The streaming platform confirmed the news this Monday, December 4, 2023. However, Netflix has yet to disclose the exact release date for the new season.

Moreover, it has revealed news regarding the list of cast members for Weak Hero Class 1 season 2. South Korean actor Park Ji-Hoon will reprise his lead role as Yeon Si-Eun in the series’ second season. Apart from him, other well-known actors like Choi Min-Young and Ryeoun will also be a part of the upcoming season.

Ryeoun, Lee Min-Jae, Choi Min-Young & more to star in Weak Hero Class 1 season 2

Netflix has revealed the new cast of season 2 of the action-thriller series on December 4, 2023. Ryeoun, Choi Min-Young, Lee Min-Jae, Bae Na-Ra, Yu Subin, and Lee Jun-Young have reportedly joined the cast of Netflix’s Weak Hero Class 1 season 2.

Ryeoun is best known for his role in Twinkling Watermelon and The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, while Choi Min-Young is well-known for the Netflix original series XO, Kitty. Actor and rapper Lee Min-Jae is known for Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and Dr. Romantic, while Bae Na-Ra was a part of D.P season 2.

Yu Subin is known for his character in Start-Up and actor Lee Jun-Young is best known for Imitation. Thus, it seems like the new season of Hero Class 1 will be a star-studded affair.

Will Choi Hyun-Wook appear in Weak Hero Class 1 season 2?

Choi Hyun-Wook played the lead role as Ahn Su-Ho in Weak Hero Class 1. However, the first season ended with Ahn Su-Ho getting into a coma. The character does not wake up from the coma in the webtoon, from which the series has been adapted. However, it is still unclear whether or not Choi Hyun-Wook will make an appearance in the series’ season 2.

Although the actor portrayed one of the most crucial roles in the first season, Netflix has not mentioned the actor’s name in the cast announcement for season 2. Thus, news regarding his appearance is still ambiguous. He may have a guest appearance in the series or may not appear at all.
