She made her acting debut in 2012 K-Drama School 2013 and became well known after playing the lead role in the television drama My Golden Life in 2017. The drama is based on true events about the tragic romance between first soprano Yun Sim-Deok (Shin Hye-Sun) and playwright Kim Woo-Jin (Lee Jong-Suk).
