He wrote, “Glad to share my next directorial #MaayaOne‘s First look poster. Wishing you a very happy birthday, darling @SundeepKishan. The ProjectZ/Maayavan Sequel #MaayaOneTeaser TODAY evening.”
Furthermore, a netizen shared crucial details from the director about the sequel. According to the tweet, the makers have completed 40 days of shooting, with only the climax and a few more days left to shoot. Additionally, they planned Maaya One’s release for August or September 2024. The tweet also confirms that Maaya One will be a proper sequel, following its prequel. Further, the makers will present it on big screens with a science fiction theme and more surprising elements. They have reportedly allocated an approximate budget of $5.9 million for the project.
