Rajkumar Santoshi’s cult classic comedy, Andaz Apna Apna, never fails to entertain. Recently, speculations have been rife that a sequel for the film is in the works. Amid the rumors of Andaz Apna Apna 2, actress Raveena Tandon has expressed her desire to reprise her iconic role in the movie.
Vinay Kumar Sinha’s Vinay Pictures produced Andaz Apna Apna. The film also stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal (in a double role) and Shakti Kapoor. Andaz Apna Apna was released on November 4, 1994. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Raveena Tandon expresses desire to star in Andaz Apna Apna 2
On March 14, during an Instagram live session, Aamir Khan teased about director Rajkumar Santoshi working on Andaz Apna Apna 2’s script. He further added that the project was still in the early stages. However, as soon as the actor dropped hints about the sequel, fans were excited to see the iconic duo together again.
In a recent interview, Raveena Tandon was candid and expressed her desire to be a part of the sequel. She said, “I would love to do it. A good comedy is something I would love to do.”
On the work front, Raveena Tandon was recently seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s Patna Shukla. The actress plays the character of lawyer Tanvi Shukla who fights to bring justice to a student wronged by the education system. Arbaaz Khan’s Arbaaz Khan Production Private Limited produced it and Vivek Budakoti directed it. Patna Shukla premiered on March 29, 2024.
Additionally, fans will see the actress in Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. The movie will be the third installment in the Welcome series. Directed by Ahmed Khan, it boasts a stellar cast, including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, and Sanjay Dutt.
