Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary to Star in Kunal Kemmu’s Madgaon Express

Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu and Avinash Tiwary are all set to share the screen for Kunal Kemmu‘s directorial debut, Madgaon Express.

Billed as a comedy entertainer, the movie is financially backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. As per the movie’s synopsis, Madgaon Express revolves around three childhood friends who embark on a trip to Goa which goes completely off-track.

It also stars Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam in pivotal roles. Along with the cast announcement, the makers also revealed the trailer release date, i.e., March 5, 2024.

Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary join the cast of Madgaon Express

On March 1, 2024, Kunal Kemmu along with the makers, took to social media to share the teaser. They captioned the post with, “Buckle up for #MadgaonExpress, a wild journey through the multiverse of madness.”

The MadgaonExpress teaser sees the three actors, usually known for their serious roles, stepping into the comedy genre. Pratik Gandhi is introduced as ‘the wolf of Dalal Street’ Divyenndu is seen as ‘the prince of Mirzapur’ and Avinash Tiwary as the ‘Bambai ka Badshah’, Their characters are a nod to the actor’s previous roles in Scam 1992, Mirzapur and Bambai Meri Jaan.

In the clip, the three actors also offer a sneak peek into their Madgaon Express characters. Divyenndu will be seen as Dodo, Pratik as Pinku and Avinash as Ayush in the movie.

The makers also took to their social media to announce the cast. They captioned the post with, “Ek saath mein picture toh banta hai #MadgaonExpress Trailer out on 5th March.” The tagline for the movie reads, “Bachpan ke sapne…. lag gaye apne.”

It will hit theatres on March 22, 2024. Along with directing the movie, Kunal Kemmu also penned it. Stay tuned for more updates on Madgaon Express.
