Ravi Teja’s awaited film Eagle finally made its way to theaters on Friday, February 9. The movie is currently entertaining the masses with its massive action combined with drama and a pinch of romance. While the movie was pre-approved by Teja himself, netizens have also given it a thumbs-up. Talking about the film’s box office collection, the opening day number predictions seem to be promising.
Eagle was announced last year and ever since then, fans have been waiting to see Ravi Teja in a whole new avatar. However, the film faced some delays. It was earlier set to release two days ahead of the festival of Sankranti. But, due to the massive competition and a producers’ meeting, the makers decided to postpone the film. Star-studded movies Guntur Kaaram, HanuMan, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga finally competed around the festival.

Eagle’s trailer and songs skyrocketed fans’ anticipation around them. According to Sacnilk.com, the Ravi Teja starrer is predicted to mint $602.1K net at the Indian box office. While the numbers look decent, it is expected to increase over the coming weekend. On the other hand, the film’s Telugu occupancy on its opening day was 32.55%.
Karthik Gattamneni directed the movie, and People Media Factory produced it. Kavya Thapar played Ravi Teja’s love interest in the film, while Anupama Parameswaran had a rather serious role. Throughout the promotion of the film, Teja heaped praise on Parameswaran for her role in the movie. Srinivas Avasarala, Navdeep, Madhoo, and others played supporting roles in the film.
While several other Telugu movies are currently in theaters, Eagle is expected to rule the box office. However, it will face major competition from Varun Tej’s Operation Valentine. The film, which stars Manushi Chhillar, will arrive in theaters on February 16.
