Guntur Kaaram Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 2: Mahesh Babu-starrer Earns $10M

Mahesh Babu‘s latest action drama, Guntur Kaaram, experienced a dip, with a total worldwide collection of only $10 million on day 2.

Trivikram Srinivas wrote and directed the movie. S. Radha Krishna produced Guntur Kaaram through Haarika & Hassine Creations. It also stars Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Jagapathi Babu. The movie was released in theatres worldwide on January 12, 2024, coinciding with Makar Sankranti.

Guntur Kaaram collects $10 million worldwide on day 2

On day 2, Guntur Kaaram’s box office collection saw a dip after its release on Friday. On opening day, the movie collected over $8 million but on day 2, the numbers fell drastically. Lead actor Mahesh Babu also visited a theatre in Hyderabad to watch the movie along with the audience on day 2. The superstar was seen enjoying the show in the company of his fans.

As per reports, Guntur Kaaram’s worldwide box office collection on day 2 stood at a total of $10 million. This was only over a $2 million jump from its opening numbers. As for its domestic collection, the total collection stood at $6 million, even though it opened with $4 million.

On day 2, the movie had an overall 46.02% Telugu occupancy. It had 34.84% occupancy for morning shows, 46.98% for afternoon ones, 51.80% for evening shows and only 50.45% for night shows.

The movie witnessed the highest occupancy in Guntur, with over 64.50%. Its estimated day 3 domestic collection stands at $8 million, which again is a very small jump from its day 2 collection.

The movie was released alongside another Telugu film, HanuMan, which initially had a low start but came close to Guntur Kaaram’s numbers on day 2. January 12 also saw releases like Merry Christmas, Captain Miller and Ayalaan.
