Salaar Movie Ticket Prices to Be Increased, Claim Reports

The upcoming pan-India movie Salaar is among the most awaited films of the year. The Prabhas-led film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in the head roles. As the release date is inching closer, fans are excited to see what the makers have to offer with the movie. However, they might have to charge a little extra to catch the movie in theatres.

As per a report by Track Tollywood, the makers of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire have demanded a hike in ticket prices. This means that the makers are expecting the movie to entertain the masses extraordinarily. However, this is only for the state of Telangana.

Salaar movie ticket prices to witness a hike?

The report revealed that the makers have demanded a hike of 40% for all multiplexes in the Nizam region. They also asked to increase the ticket prices for single-screen theaters by 34%. As of now, the Indian government has set the ticket price at $3.55 for multiplexes and $2.10 for single-screen theaters.

The makers of Salaar have reportedly demanded the prices to be $4.97 and $2.84, respectively. They have also demanded the ticket prices for weekends to be $4.26 and $2.77, respectively. However, a confirmation from neither the makers nor the government has been issued.

Meanwhile, the advance booking for Salaar in India has begun and fans can now grab their desired tickets. Prashanth Neel, who is known for helming the KGF film series, has shared some insights about the movie. The director revealed that the film is an emotional story of two friends, played by Prabhas and Sukumaran, who turn enemies. Hombale Films have produced the movie over a reported budget $48.1 million. The makers have made extraordinary sets that span 100 acres for the film in Ramoji Film City.

Salaar will compete with Shah Rukh Khan’s awaited action comedy Dunki at the box office.
