Kartik Aaryan is all set to return as Rooh Baba in his highly anticipated film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 in 2022, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar will produce this third installment. Anees Bazmee will direct it, with Kartik Aaryan reprising the lead role once again.
As per reports, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to be released during the festive season. The film promises to add a dash of thrill and mystery to the auspicious celebrations.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to release on Diwali 2024
The producers have scheduled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 for release during Diwali 2024. The film is aiming to exceed the expectations set by its predecessor. It will revive the beloved franchise that initially spooked fans in 2007. Fans know the franchise for its perfect blend of horror and comedy, along with gripping storylines and unforgettable characters.
According to reports, the producers will confirm casting for other roles once they thoroughly finalize the script, adding more anticipation to the upcoming production. The source stated, “After finalising the story, they will be getting actors on board as the script demands, currently few names of actors are doing rounds which are not confirmed as we are yet to zero down on actors.”
However, recent reports stated that Tabu has walked out of the film. She previously portrayed the dual roles of Anjulika Chatterjee and Manjulika Chatterjee in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. So far, poducers have only finalized Kartik Aaryan’s name for the cast list. The source added, “The only actor confirmed is Kartik Aryan as Rooh Baba and no other actors have been confirmed as of yet.”
Anees Bazmee directed the previous film as well, which was a sequel to Akshay Kumar’s 2007 hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
