The Archies Cast Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda Shine in New Song ‘Sunoh’

In the heart of Bollywood buzz, Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, The Archies, took a giant step. Closer to its eagerly awaited release, the makers launched its first song, “Sunoh” on October 19, 2023. The track not only sets the stage for an exciting cinematic experience but also introduces a star-studded cast that is ready to shine.

“Sunoh” features a stellar ensemble cast that includes Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi ‘Dot’ Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda. The song has been sung by Tejas, Shivam Mahadevan, and Dot. Moreover, Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics of the song.

Agastya Nanda, the grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, takes center stage in the music video. His charisma and energy bring the song to life. Accompanied by a group of enthusiastic boys, Agastya is seen lip-syncing to the song.

Suhana Khan makes a remarkable entrance at Riverdale, effortlessly gliding through the picturesque setting on skates. Her graceful moves and magnetic presence are poised to make her a standout in the film. Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor, sister of Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor, adds to the film’s charm as well. She leisurely strolls through the scenic location on her bicycle, creating a delightful on-screen presence.

In a recent conversation with Vogue, Zoya Akhtar revealed the challenges of working with a mostly fresh cast. She described the preparation process as a “complete boot camp.” The Archies is based on the eponymous American comic book series. It is directed and written by Zoya Akhtar alongside co-writers Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre Dhillon. The film will be released on December 7, 2023, on Netflix.

With the release of “Sunoh” and the film’s forthcoming arrival on Netflix, The Archies promises to be a captivating and memorable addition to Bollywood with fresh talent.
