Exclusive Photos: Barbara Crampton’s Behind the Scenes DELIRIUM Cover Shoot

Get an exclusive behind the scenes eyeful of Barbara Crampton’s latest cover shoot.

DELIRIUM, the cult film magazine this writer/editor curates, just announced that the cover story for its 11th issue will spotlight none other than the Queen of cult cinema herself. Lady Barbara Crampton.

To celebrate the complete stem-to-stern career retrospective and glimpse at the legendary actresses recent renaissance in a new wave of edgy indie horror films,  I joined forces with LA-based photographer Ama Lea, the visionary artist who is known for he innovative, award-winning creative photo shoots, most involving horror and film icons re-imagined in fantasy settings.

For this exclusive conceptual cover shoot, our vision was to echo the sophisticated, lush and pink sensuality of Harry Kumel’s marvelous 1971 vampire film DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS, specifically channeling the intelligent sexuality of Delphine Seyrig.

The shoot went down in LA with Crampton and a bevy of beauties, including actress Devanny Pinn, as Barbara’s swooning victims/familiars.

Ama was kind enough to send us 4 exclusive images from that shoot. Have a look…

DELIRIUM #11 streets on June 11th, with an exclusive release party featuring Crampton and others at Burbank’s Dark Delicacies.

We’ll reveal the complete cover and sexy centerfold soon…
