While not overly red itself, the red band trailer for Ciaran Foy’s Siniser 2 is an eerie, ritual-heavy look at Bughuul’s return and all of Super 8 family massacres that await.
There’s still that trick of Bughuul still in a photo and then suddenly he’s moving, but Sinister 2 looks packed with the best component of the first film: the monstrously unsettling home movies. Bughuul and his roving pack of dead kids have #SquadGoals, and that’s to add Shannyn Sossamon’s twins to their ranks. To do so, it seems they play them inspiring movies of families being buried alive, barbecued and getting in satanic formation.
