Sarah Paulson Returns to American Horror Story; New Scream Queens Teaser

This fall, we’ve got double the Ryan Murphy-co-created hyper stylized horror-comedy bizarro anthology series. Unsurprisingly, news tends to coincide. Today, Sarah Paulson (pictured top in Coven) was announced as another returning American Horror Story cast member—with Murphy describing her character as “the baddest girl of them all”—while another Scream Queens teaser has hit.

Paulson, who’s appeared in every season of American Horror Story thus far joins Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny at the Hotel. Meanwhile, AHS regular Emma Roberts has switched on over to upcoming FOX show, Scream Queens, where she joins Abigial Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele and Keke Palmer in the tale of a college campus struck by murders. This is the second tease* based around Roberts’ character, Chanel.

Both shows are expected to premiere this fall. Production on American Horror Story: Hotel gets underway late summer.

*Funny enough, the first has been augmented slightly. The sorority letters on the house initially read KNT (as did on her sweater;  that’s been removed entirely), but it seems that proved too vulgar for some.
