Theres a lot to Unfriended thats kind of stunning, in that the film feels truly authentic and seamless in its depiction of how we operate onlinemoving between windows and tabs, the things we type, the things we delete. The film is almost a miracle in the way it doesnt feel immediately dated like many previous tech-based horror films.
Produced by Blumhouse and Timur Bekmambetov, Unfriended unfolds over a teenagers computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a vicious bully to kill herself a year earlier.
Unfriended is out from Universal on April 17th
