Shooting Begins This Week on Zombie Western Bullets for the Dead

The film is based on an original 3-minute short from the Griffith Film School (GFS) grad films of 2011, overseen by artist in residence and Spanish director Alberto Sciamma (The Killer Tongue/La Lengua Asesina).

Seeing its feature film potential, Alberto pitched to friend and sales agent Michael Cowan, Visionquest Entertainment picked it up to produce and GFS pitched in with a facilities deal. Bullets for the Dead blends the guilt and redemption of the traditional western with all you would expect of a rollicking zombie film.

It will be shot in and around South East Queensland across November/December.

Bullets for the Dead is a Visionquest Entertainment International production in association with the Griffith Film School, Screen Queensland, GSP Distribution and Premiere Picture.
