E3 2014: Alien: Isolation Gameplay Trailer & New Screen Grabs!

The most exciting game for me coming for the PS4 and Xbox One this year is Alien: Isolation.

If you’ve been reading our coverage, you know that this new game is a direct sequel to Ridley Scott’s film, not just in story, but tone. The first visuals we’ve seen have been breathtaking and that is a good word to describe the new trailer for E3 2014, that and “terrifying.”

This will be a game to crank up the volume and enjoy your gaming chair, I guarantee it. The mood and desperation seeps through this trailer which you can watch it below. Check out a handful of new screen grabs as well!

Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror game capturing the fear and tension evoked by Ridley Scott’s 1979 classic film. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.
