In addition to directing the film, Spradlin co-wrote the comic and screen treatment with Wernick, who also produced. Bad Kids Go to Hell, which stars The Breakfast Club alum Judd Nelson, had its theatrical release across the U.S. and Canada begin December 7th, 2012.
The film will be available on several On Demand platforms this Friday, January 11th, while the DVD release date is yet to be announced.
The film, based on the popular comic book series of the same name, tells the tale of six private school students locked in a Saturday detention with a killer on the loose.
