According to the site, he’ll play opposite Jessica Lange and his character might have a romantic involvement with her role. He’ll be the head of a mental institution for the criminally insane where Lange’s character works.
Fiennes, who also starred in Flash Forward (pictured), joins James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Zachary Quinto, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Rabe and Lizzie Brochere star.
The series – co-created by Murphy – will pick up in the ’60s and tell an all-new tale of terror on FX this fall.
