When casting news breaks for Dexter, you have to wonder if the actor getting involved is going to have a long run…or if they’re committing to a bit part which ends up on Dexters table wrapped in plastic. Entertainment Weekly reports actor Matt Gerald is joining the cast of season seven. The site says he’ll play a “blue-collar violent criminal.” But don’t expect this actor to appear in simply one episode, apparently he has a multi-episode arc.
Gerald was seen in Avatar and The Shield. Ray Stevenson, Jason Gedrick and Katia Winter are some of the other newcomers to Dexter’s upcoming season.
